Hendrix - Band of Gypsys

Been into Hendrix for the last 30+ years and for some reason I never got around to acquiring this album. Bought it on a whim at a vinyl record fair recently and I think I get it now. Back when I first heard it, it was perhaps a bit too psyched out for my taste, but no more!
Obviously Machine Gun is the highlight of the album, and for good reason, but the ridiculously funky Who Knows is not to be overlooked, and Changes is interesting too&emdash;if nothing else, simply for the fact that less than 2 months after the album’s release on March 25 1970, Ramsey Lewis recorded a cover (on May 8-9 1970) for the later released live album titled after the song, Them Changes.
