Andre 3000 - New Blue Sun

This one is probably a bit controversial, but as the user VerdanaVirtuosity on RateYourMusic so eloquently put it:
It’s nothing special, but I know Andre was very happy while making it and that’s good enough for me.
The album is a fine and pleasant work of experimental, ambient improvisation, but where it really shines is everything surrounding it—from André’s passion for wind instruments, over the ridiculous track titles and to the crazy fan expectations for a new André 3000/OutKast release. This is probably not what they meant when they were asking for new André 3000 material.
But, again, André’s passion for the project is definitely real, and it shines through, and that is justification enough for me to give it a listen, and it should be for you too!
