Algorithms and AI do not cut it for me when it comes to music recommendations. I am interested in music that is unusual, unexpected and innovative—i.e. something that challenges me—not something that is basically the same as what I already know and is primarily motivated by financial interests.

I assume some other people enjoy human curation too, so I figured I would share my random recommendations here. While I do try to provide some context and/or reason for the recommendations, they are not reviews—only in the sense that a recommendation inherently is some kind of positive affirmation.
